Residence Pass – Talent (RP-T)

Why Should I Apply?

With the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP), Malaysia recognizes the need for top foreign talents and experts to work more than the usual two or three-year stint in the country. If you’re an expatriate working in Malaysia and looking for a flexible long-term option to work and live in the country, then the Residence Pass-Talent (RP-T) is the solution for you.

Residence Pass – Talent

The Residence Pass – Talent (RP-T) is as a 10-year multiple entry visa which is employer-independent, targeting top foreign talents in NKEA sectors. If you are a high-achieving individual with the capacity to drive business results that contribute towards Malaysia’s economic transformation then you may apply for the RP-T.

Applications are reviewed against a set of criteria that gauges both the talent’s qualification and the economic contributions to the country.
