OK, I am a Seattlite and so one thing I miss is good coffee...
But I found a GREAT place on the corner of Hadda and Djibouti that could fit in on any Seattle street corner. It's called Coffeeday and they not only have a great mocha, they can serve it iced and have a great selection-- and yes they have a cappichino machine and NO they don't use Nescafe!! The man who runs it, Muhammad, is a real sweat heart and is eager to make his customers happy. Oh yes, and as a single woman I felt very comfortable there.
It's right next to the Western Union on Hadda Street. From Djibouti Street, take a left like you are walking towards the old city. I'm generally there from around 5:30 to 6:30 after my Arabic class. Right now they don't have very many customers, so let's change that! |
