Post your experiences here!
I'll post a good one to start.
One of my favorite restarants for Vietnamese food is Lucky Star at 69 Dong Khoi street in Saigon. Incredible lemon chicken. Seriously, in most of Vietnam I've been disappointed with the chicken dishes but not at Lucky Star. They also serve a Vietnamese version of crispy fish which is whole fish in a hot oil. Crispy on the outside, but juicy and tender on the inside. Steamed rice, and wok fried spinach for sides and for dessert a Mango or Papaya pudding with a traditional Vietnamese coffee.
YUM!

Sounds great, I must give it a whirl, Hi Tudo just passing through. I'm no where near Vietnam but it is on my travel list.

There's a good site (frequently updated) that covers good eating in Hanoi. There always seems to be new shit popping up on it. Give it a look.

Hi all,
Always been a wee bit worried about exactly where to eat. Are there regions to avoid? and what would you say the quality of hygiene REALLY is? |
