HI, Nick
I am also new to Vietnam. living in tan binh district , hochiminh city and looking for freinds to get together. I moved to work for the branch office of my company here. Just been two weeks. Today Sunday afternoon, quite boring without friends and my local coworkers already made a plan with others.
-.-
I am doing some leftover work and found this nice website. Hopefully this will work.
Anyway, I am telling you, there are some places I want to go to like CU CHI tunnel, floating markets, Suoi Tien Park,Mekong Delta, etc and want to try some authentic foods. If you wanna get to know about me or hang out with me, email or YM me. I am alwasy on at work. We can talk first.

Hi Guys!
I'm considering moving to Vietnam in HCMC with my pregnant wife. How are the hospitals here?
How mcu do you think is a decent salary for a middle manager position in a consultancy- expat rate? |

Yeah, FV is joint French-Vietnam hospital there. It's quite modern and the service is good as well. I'm not sure which industry you are working, but I think for mid-manager, the salary is at least $3K. You should negotiate to have company supply house, health care and transportation.
Have fun and welcome to Vietnam. |

Hello Chelmy,
Have you been here for a month or so now? I actually just got here today. Any luck with meeting new people? What about Nick and Enna who posted above? Any luck anyone?
Well, I'm a guy from the US. Just got here and will be working here for about two years at least. So, it'd be great to get to know the expat scene a bit. Maybe get reccomentations on where to find an apartment. Heck, I'd be happy to start with a fun place to go out tomorrow night.
Hope you've all been having a blast.
