OBJECTVE/PROFILE
Telecommunications / Construction - Project Manager
I have been on various visits to the US on consultancy work for my old firm, Fuse Technical Eng. They provided a service which helps firms understand the various H&S issues currently plaguing our industry today, this also includes the techniques that tower climbers use whilst working on site. Other previous employment was within the project management group of KDC Group, where I have worked on all systems, including Orange, T-Mobile, Vodafone, Dolphin and O2. I ran the maintenance project for the police antenna system (Airwave), which involved country wide surveillance. This employment also included various work carried out for the armed forces.
I am capable of working unsupervised or as part of a team, if required. I have proven experience of working at height on antenna structures and systems with certification from an approved body. I am physically capable and have the knowledge and relevant qualifications to do the job given. I have worked on various projects ranging from £20,000 up to the cost of £1,500,000, within the telecoms sector, fully seeing them from start to finish and keeping track of all costs and times. I have taken it upon myself to attend a course at my local university for the past 2 years, in Project and Quality Management, to further my knowledge and career opportunities within the engineering community, I also familiarized myself with various Microsoft Office applications, word, excel and various other Microsoft Office applications. In the next 3 months I plan to take my knowledge further by becoming registered as a Prince II practitioner.
