Hiya, I need some advice about working and living in the usa please. I would like to spend one or two years living in the usa after I graduate from uni in a couple of years. I'm confused as to which visa I would apply for, I don't want to permanently move there, just work for a year or two part time as a year out. I'm mainly interested in just finding bar work or retail, however I'm unsure if I will need to have secured a job before moving there. If I can show that I can support myself when I arrive until I find work would that benefit me? If anyone understands what I mean please reply of pm me, thanks ash x
Hence you have mentioned you want to work in Bar or Retail shop, which is considered as unskilled work. You must apply for H2-B visa goto www(dot)immigrationdirect(dot)com/visas/visitor/Get-a-US-Temporary-Seasonal-Work-Visa-Unskilled-Visa-H2b-Visa(dot)jsp but first you must have a job offer from the US employer.
