Hi all. Are there any h-2b workers here in USA? or anybody who can help give me ideas and information about h-2b visa.

I am an h-2b visa holder here in USA. I've been working here for the past 8 months. I am not sure, but can i extend my stay here in USA? How can i get started and when do i need to apply if there is an extension? Is it expensive to get an extension like what i spent in coming here? Who can help me in this process?

I would appreciate any information and help about my situation.
Thank you so much.

Mark

Hi. I am an H-2B worker too. I just had my H-2B visa extension. Actually, i was kinda worried because 2 months ago when i started looking for an extension, it was a little hard. It is either jobs were closed so fast or there are no enough jobs because of the recession now here in USA.

Yes, you can extend your visa. We are allowed the go through H-2B visa extension for 3 years, so long as we can look for an employer eligible to petition us. I forgot the website but try searching H2B Extension Inc.

They did my last extension and i am sure they will have jobs by the time you are about to expire. Don't sit and wait btw, i tell you there are a lot of h-2b workers now who are also looking for H-2B visa extensions so start looking around. It is not too expensive mark, my processing with H2B Extension Inc. is way lower than other companies.

Try calling them and good luck in your extension.

n_face thanks. Yeah, i checked with H2B extension Inc. website but they don't have ongoing extension this time. The website say's check back by January or February for summer placement. Can you check if this is the same number you got from them 816 256 8618/816 256 8268. I will call them on my day off, Friday. I just wanna know if that is their correct numbers because i just lost my phone and i am unable to check that this time. Many thanks!

Hello Mark,

we are currently looking for people who are interested in extending their H2B status. Please refer to www(dot)h2bportal(dot)com or send us an email at jobs(at)h2bportal(dot)com

H2B jobs are available immediately, you don't have to wait for the summer season.
