| Hi, we live in Punta but go to Montevideo once in a while, and would like to find a cheaper and better source of fiction than our local (The Bookshop). We have a fairly large selection of paperbacks, also classics, along with PG Wodehouse, Agatha Christie, and a few other decent mystery writers, and we'd like to either swap, or consider setting up a members lending library. Anyone out there interested? |

Hi! I am planning to move to Uruguay in the semi-near future. Having lived abroad before, I feel your pain and know exactly what it's like when it comes to the shortage of good books to read. I was already planning to box up a bunch of paperbacks and ship them to myself, as I've done before, so I'd have some reading selections later on once there in Uruguay (probably Montevideo or Piriapolis...still deciding). I'd be willing to do up a box and send it directly to you, however. Then you can just "swap" them back to me sometime down the line Feel free to contact me via this forum or whatever and I can give you my e-mail address. Special requests available at my local used bookstore welcomed |
