Hello.
We were thinking of retiring in Thailand and were wondering if it is a safe place for expats to live?
Are there many break-ins, muggings, burglaries?
Would appreciate any help. Thanks. |

what part of Thailand are you considering moving to?
there will be robberies etc no matter what part of the world you go to, Thailand is reasonably safe, moreso if you are older and not taking part in the nightlife. |

| I agree that there will be break-ins where ever you are. Some practical advice here: either live in a gated community, Condo or have someone trusted by a house sitter while you are not around. The thieves always go for the easiest least secured place OR inside jobs.... |
