Hi,
I am in desperate need of some guidance, any help will do!
My boyfriend (British) and I (Polish -EU) want to live and study in Taiwan.
In the beginning we were only thinking to spending there a year or so but he has a family out there.
I don’t have a degree but he is finishing his MBA this summer. I really want to go back to school and do a degree.
I am interested in art and design – photography is my main interested but visual communication generally.
I have been looking around and have problems with obtaining basic information – the problem is that the courses I could do would have to be in English – I don’t speak Chinese and doubt I could learn enough to study in one year.
Also, on universities’ websites there is no information about courses, only departments. It seems that I have to enrol and then pick a course which seems silly – how can I enrol not knowing what I am enrolling to?? I also can’t find any art school…

I would really really appreciate if someone could get in touch with me, I will try to help with anything you may have problems with in return (photography, personal training)

actually if you're patient and detailed enough, you'll realise this forum itself shares a lot of information on what you're looking for, and beyond.

i cnt post links here, but google 'edu.gov.tw' and it will bring you search results on taiwan's MOE. you will be able to find most of the information you'd need from that website but you'd have to be patient and figure your way around the site. btw, you can change the language to english (look on the top right hand corner of your screen for the 'english' button)

not sure if this information came too late, but hope i helped! (:
