Expatriate Forums in Taiwan

Hi everyone,

I will be joining the living in Taipei group in 2 weeks time. Hence, I would like to seek comments for the two short-listed school for my 4 yo daughter.

Taipei European School vs. Taipei Fuhsing Private School

From my understanding, Taipei Fushing Private School offer bilingual teaching, i.e. teaching in both English and Mandarin.

Does anyone here know about the teaching syllabus in Taipei European School (TES) - British Infant Section? Do they have Mandarin as also they core language subject?

I would prefer my girl to learn English as well as Mandarin.

My office is in Dun Hua North Road. I were told that if we choose to study in Taipei Fuhsing Private School, then we can live nearly at the area near my office.

If we were to choose to study in TES, then to live in Tien Mu area and it took about 45 minutes from the house to office.

However, I need more advise from all forumers, especially those who have experience with either one of the school.
