Hi, I am a Canadian living in Japan, but from Dec 23rd to Dec 26th I'll be visiting Seoul Korea. I was hoping to try some good restaurants, do some bar hopping at places that foreigners frequent, see a couple historical sites, and also, I was wondering if there is anything to do on Christmas day. Thanks in advance.
I know this is old but I am replying just for people who might search later. The area around City Hall is quite active and it is a good launching point for trips to elsewhere as lots of busses go thru there and you are within walking distance of 4 subway lines.
Namsam tower (Seoul Tower) is a very scenic spot as well, plus you have two palaces and several great museums and theaters very near City Hall as well.
If you just get overwhelemd, stroll into one of the fancier hotels, look like you know what you are doing and talk to the concierge. They are great for helping you set up things to do!
