So I guess someone should kick this off by posting the first message on the Romanian forum.
I have been to Bucharest a couple of times in the last few weeks for job interviews and it looks like I will be moving there later this year to work as a lawyer.
I am expecting to pay about 1000 euro a month for accommodation. Is that realistic?
How difficult is it to get a work visa if you are not an EU citizen? I am planning on arriving in Romania as a tourist and getting the residency visa once I am there.
Can anyone recommend some good reliable international moving companies based in Romania.
Any other information or hints would be appreciated. |

1000 euros/months is a little on the high side. You should be able to get something cool for about 600, or even less.
Getting the work visa is doable if the company wants you. Don't ask details because I don't know them; however it didn't seemed to be a problem for most people I know. |
