Hi there,
I am new on this board. I will be moving to makati mid october, and I'm looking to learn as much as possible about the city, places to hang out, etc. I am begining to surf, so any tip on that will also be highly appreciated 
Anyone living there?, I'd like to meet new friends.

hey lizzy--the philippines is an acrchipelago (7100 islands) so you won't run out of water sport actvities. for surfing, there are a number of places you could check out such as baler (quezon province), zambales and the world-reknowed siargo island.
you may want to check the wowphilippines site to check for details.
