The Canadian Alumni Association is open to anybody who has studied in Canada. Most of the members are Peruvian, but expats are encouraged to join. The Association organizes lectures and social events several times a year.

Expatperu provides information to expatriates living, or planning to move to, Peru. It offers forums and signup to the popular 'Expatriate' mailing list, where over 500 foreign residents in Peru come together to share information of mutual interest.

The International Toastmasters Club of Peru

This Toastmasters Club is an English-language public speaking workshop. Members improve their communication abilities by giving prepared and impromptu speeches on a wide range of topics. Membership is mixed between English-speaking Peruvians and foreigners living in, or visiting, Peru. This club meets once a week on Tuesday nights. Guests are always welcome. This is a great way to meet new people.

Lima Hash House Harriers (LimaHHH)

There are Hash House Harrier groups all over the world, and Peru is no exception. The Lima Hashers refer to themselves as "Drinkers with a running problem". They meet in different locations in and outside of Lima every few weeks for an organized event. You don´t have to be an athlete to get involved. The Hash always has two routes: one for runners, the other for walkers. Afterwards, there is always food, drinks and music. Hashes in Lima attract from 20 to 60 people, both foreigners and locals. Participating with the Hash is a good way to make local friends and to get to know the geography of Lima.

This organization is dedicated to affording American and Canadian citizens the opportunity to enjoy the culture and heritage of their native countries while enjoying and adapting to the customs and history of Peru.

The American and Canadian Association of Peru is an organization dedicated to affording American and Canadian citizens the opportunity to enjoy the culture and heritage of their native countries while enjoying and adapting to the customs and history of Peru.

The American and Canadian Association of Peru was formed in 1917 by Americans residing in Peru as The American Society. It gave people with American passports, and their families, the opportunity to speak English with others of familiar backgrounds and participate in social and cultural activities together on a non-official basis. Shortly there after, Canadians were admitted. In 1993, The American Society became the American Association of Peru because of new Peruvian laws. The name was again modified in 1999 to the present American and Canadian Association of Peru.

The Association provides a setting in which its members can share in the customs and heritage of their native countries, while their children have the chance to participate in American and Canadian holidays as they might at home and learn about the Peruvian way of life. Concentration is on social and cultural activities; when the budget permits, this is extended to charitable contributions to both American/ Canadian and Peruvian organizations.

In recent years, associate membership has become available to anyone holding a passport from an English-speaking country. This includes all membership benefits, except the opportunity to vote in the annual elections.
