What are they? I'm familiar with costa ricas requirements but haven't found anything on Nicaragua. Can you help?

VISA TO NICARAGUA

VISA

Required only by nationals of the following countries:

Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Armenia, Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cameroon, China (PR), Congo (Dem Rep), Congo (Rep), Cuba, East Timor, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Korea (Dem Rep), Laos, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Mali, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine National Authority, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, the Syrian Arab Republic, Vietnam and Yemen.

Nationals not mentioned, a valid passport for at least six months from the date of arrival is required.

Note: All other nationals can obtain a Tourist Card on arrival for approximately US$10 for tourist stays of one month, provided they are holding valid travel documents and, in the case of business travelers, a letter from their employer and/or company in Nicaragua.

Types of visa and cost

Tourist and Business: US$31

Validity

One month from date of issue. Visas can be extended for up to 30 more days. Applications should be made to the Immigration Office in Managua.

APPLYING FOR VISA

Application to Consulate (or Consular section at Embassy). Tourist Cards can be obtained on arrival.

Application requirements

(a) Valid passport and a photocopy of passport required.
(b) Completed application form.
(c) Two passport-size photos.
(d) Fee.
(e) Onward or return ticket; including any travel documents needed for previous and next destination.

Working days required

Confirmation for visas can take six to eight weeks as special authorization from the Nicaraguan Ministry of Foreign Affairs may be required.

Temporary residence

Enquire at Embassy.

Note: Applicants need to have lived in Nicaragua for at least one year before applying.

I would enjoy moving with my family to your country. I am a nurse with 23 years experience and have computer and construction skills.
Your country is beautiful. The problem I have and I wonder if can be resolved. I made mistakes in the past and in 1984-85, I was recruited by my government to provide aide to the contras. I was former special operations in the US Military during Vietnam. I am sorry for my actions. I really thought I was doing the right thing but now after receiving my degree in history I realize it was wrong actions. After my involvement in your country was over I have settled down and led quiet a productive life. I would enjoy visiting and hopefully moving to your great country.
