Hello,

I am an American who has long dreamed of moving to NZ. I have also dreamed of becoming a teacher for the last few years. I now feel it is time to act on my two ambitions. I notice that NZ seems to be only recruiting immigrants with experience in a particular field not career changers. I do have Bachelors of Arts in History and Sociology as well as a Masters of Science in Computer Information Systems. Also a fair bit of graduate work in history. My career since my Masters has been light technology/PR work.

My question (finally!) is what might be the best way for me to proceed to achieve a teachers (secondary) position in NZ with cost and time factored in?
