Hi to everyone!!

I get married on the Isle of Anglesey in Wales in December and are coming to NZ for honeymoon! Can't wait!

We've also submitted an expression of interest to see if we can get residency in NZ so the honeymoon is more a chance to check out perspective residencies.

I need to give my new wife a good night on our first night in Auckland when we get there so can anyone suggest anything?? I'm talking something like a nice meal in a very romantic restaurant preferably with water/sea views?

Any suggestion on a romantic night in Auckland would be greatly greatly appreciated!!

i would get something by the viaduct i guess, maybe the hilton, right on the water. if you want something more chilled, a place in devonport would be good, and a short (15minute) ferry away...

i think i used wotif before and that was pretty good. the way the hotel bookings in nz work you can usually get a cheaper rate via the internet than if you step in the door.

by the way for something more kiwi you could probably rent a sailboat (with skipper if neeed) and wake up on the anchor out in one of the hauraki gulf islands...
