Zoover is the largest Dutch travel website with more than 550.000 reviews of more than 120.000 accommodations worldwide. Since September 2007 Zoover is extending its business all over Europe. The headquarter of Zoover International is based in Utrecht, The Netherlands. On the website visitors can review accommodations and upload photos and videos. Zoover is translating her Dutch and English content into several European languages. Zoover is now looking for;
TRANSLATORS M/F (Homework/Freelance)
who are native
Danish; Swedish; Norwegian; Finnish;
Responsibilities
As a Translator you will translate English or Dutch texts into one of the languages mentioned above. You are quite free how to translate the texts to your native language, as the meaning of the content will remain the same. It contains the following texts:
-Accommodation reviews
Short review written by consumers. Average 60 words per review.
-Destination information
Short, tourist description of a destination of approx. 300 words.
-Places of Interest
Short description about attractions (church, museum, district, etc). Average 60/70 words per item.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is native speaker of at least one of the languages mentioned above. English language is a must. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
Salary
It concerns a freelance/homework task. Most of the original texts are very simple.
Payments take place on a monthly base after completing the translations. The mentioned payment is gross, therefore you will be responsible for the tax refund.
Procedure
Applications can be sent only by e-mail. Applications are evaluated by Zoover. Suitable candidates are invited for a short telephone call with Zoover. After this call you can start immediately with translating.
