My family and I have applied for a visa, but due to my Swedish employer's tardiness, we have applied later than we would have liked. Does anyone know how long it is currently taking to process a visa to Sweden?
Well, that's a tricky question. There's several factors. When you apply, where your applying from, and what type of visa.
I can't really offer much advice on the work permit side (I went sambo). Have you tried contacting the consulate or the migration board to find out what's going on with your application? I think work visa's are only supposed to take 2-3 months. But I'm not entirely sure. If I were you, I'd follow up.
Not sure if this is a moot issue since this post was from a few months ago though.
