We are lucky here in Gois, Central Portugal, as we have ongoing FREE classes for beginners and improvers. I believe other localities also have classes provided, so I would recommend this as a first useful step for meeting people and making friends.

Free lessons for foreigners are also available in Lousa, Casal de Ermio and Vila Nova de Poiares.

International Women in Portugal

Open to ALL nationalities and currently has a
membership of approximately 350. While English
is the language used by the Club for its
day-to-day communications, over 30 different
nationalities are represented within the
membership. IWP is a non-profit making
organisation which raises money for charities,

In addition there are programs aimed at
