Hiya I am new to the forum and wanted to say Hi and Happy New Year to everyone. We hope to contribute regularly as this looks a great forum unlike some in PT which are very cliquey!

Also, if anyone needs any Pet Boarding in Central Portugal, we can highly recommend a couple who live near Miranda do Corvo in Central Portugal called Valerie and Gary (Paws2Claws), we have left our dog with them over Christmas and on other occasions and they have been fantastic. All our friends now leave their pets with them. We have used other pet sitters before with bad results and were so pleased to find them as they are the best in our opinion. We live near Lisbon and always travel the 1 1/2 hr journey to leave our dog with them as it is worth it as we know they will be well cared for. They are very reasonable and are probably one of the cheapest we know of especially given they are so good.

If anyone wants their details, here is the telephone number 913957147 they do have a website and email so let me know if anyone wants details.

Good Luck to everyone for the New Year 209! Best wishes, Janet and Adey

Hello! I was really interested to see your post - we live in Central Portugal, and Miranda do Corvo is not too far away from us - in fact, our first (rescued) dog came from there. We acquired our second dog just two days before Christmas, when we found an abandoned puppy near our house - I try not to be a soft touch, but who can turn away a puppy at Christmas, especially when the children have fallen in love with it at first sight?! Does Paws2Claws also board cats? Or any other animals?

This could be a useful link for our own website - www goisproperty com as we try to disseminate information for people in the Gois area of central Portugal.

Thanks, and Happy New Year! Laughing
