Guardian GraveCare is a specialist grave and memorial tending service, providing caring maintenance across the UK. Headquartered in rural Worcestershire, we have a team of professional grave carers throughout the UK.

We recognise that there are many expats who have no one to look after the final resting place of their loved ones, after they have left the UK. This means that too often graves become untidy, with memorials getting dirty and in some cases, even damaged.

As we all know, it can be an emotional wrench to leave the county, and so if we can at least help expats in the knowledge that these graves are being professionally maintained, then that’s one less thing to worry about.

We provide a range of services, including upkeep of graves and plots, planting of seasonal bulbs and plants, flower displays and memorial refurbishment and have customers as far a field as Europe, North America and Australia.

So if you are just too far away, we can help in the knowledge that the work will be conducted with both care and dignity.

Each visit by specialist grave carers includes the following general maintenance:

-Trimming of grass around the headstone and edge of the plot
-Removal of weeds
-Removal of all debris (old flowers, plants and other litter)
-Washing of any memorial pot liners
-Cleaning of the headstone/memorial (this can cost from £100 or more, if conducted by a memorial stone mason).

We also can supply freshly cut flowers, and plant seasonal bulbs and plants at any of your chosen tendings.

We then take a digital photograph which we e-mail or post to you. This enables clients to visually inspect the work that we have carried out, and to see the difference the visit on their behalf has made.

If we believe that the memorial or kerb edging requires some repairs and/or additional maintenance, we can provide detailed photographs and a written report. We then provide a '[spam word detected]' quotation on any work that needs completing at subsequent visits, including the replacement of old or 'lost' grave vases, the renewal of stone/pebble/slate chippings, or any turfing or top soil work.

A specialist monumental mason would then carry out any repairs that may be necessary to the memorial or the inscription.

Our services start from just £7.99 per month.
