Whether or not you are looking for a new dentist or not The Dental Spa of New York on e. 54th street is great. For new patients only they are offering $99 package that includes a professional dental whitening (normally $600) and this comes with a dental exam and professional cleaning and polishing ($1000 value). Since this is a cosmetic procedure if you don't have insurance you can pay the $99 cash/check or credit or you can use PPO insurance towards this.
