Acc to the EU rules and regulations anyone can reside in another EU country providing he/she her has a job, adequate income to live on and a health insurance. The rule also says that the host country decides on whether that person can live there depending on the income available. Does anyone know what would happen if an early pensioner (60) decides to buy property in The Netherlands (no mortgage), has health insurance but only some eu 600 per month income in the form of an early pension. However, a high pension (3 times that a mount) can be expected 5 years later. Does anyone know if the Dutch authorities would consider this to be adequate? Many thanks for your replies.
