Creative Writing Consortium The CWC is a meeting point for writers of all genres and levels of experience. We have changed our name from Creative Writing “Club” to “Consortium”, because we felt it better reflected our increasing collaborations with creative people who are not just writers, but also artists, actors, singers, designers, and filmmakers. The CWC’s project “Art Echo” at the Casino Modern Art museum (Casino Luxembourg - Forum d\'art contemporain) is a recent example of this type of innovative collaboration. But the core of what we do is still based on the craft of writing: sharing our work (published and unpublished) and supporting each other by monthly meetings and shared resources. The CWC is initiating a new season and as always, we encourage new members! Ours is a unique group: There are no club fees, and members can participate as much as they like, attend all of the meetings or only a few. Generally, we organize meetings in each other’s homes, but we’ve also met in restaurants, bars, and during the summer, “poems and picnics” in the park. No member has to host a meeting if they do not wish to. We will be announcing some of our projects in the upcoming weeks, and members can become involved in these activities if they wish, or just come to the writing rendezvous. For more information about what the CWC does, you can go to www.creativewritingclub.com. If you wish to become a member or come along to one of the meetings, please contact Mary Carey on mary.carey@internet.lu, Deborah Anderson on dfa@pt.lu, or Caroline Benali Fuchs on giocaro@tiscali.lu.
