Hi
I've been looking for information on work permits/residency permits for members of the EAA (that does include UK citizens, right) and I seem to keep finding contradictory information.
Some sites say that a UK citizen can enter Iceland and work immediately for 3 months and does not need to leave the country while residency is being dealt with, while others say that a UK citizen can enter and stay for up to 6 months if they are actively searching for a job.
Is this correct? Can I come to Iceland to join my fiance(who does have a job there) and stay for 6 months if I am searching for work?
