Best way to visit your family in Chisinau when coming back from abroad: rent a short term rental apartment here in the middle of Chisinau.
Much better than a good hotel.
I can recommend the one in Puskin 30-17 (just put this in google and you will find). A nice 2 bedroom apartment where we stayed for 60€ for all of us.
A good hotel would cost easely 3 - 4 times more.
