NIGHTLIFE IN MALI

There are a few nightclubs in Bamako and a number of good restaurants - Thai, French, Italian, and Lebanese - which are mainly operated and patronised by expatriates.

Go to the Appaloosa, a Tex-Mex karaoke bar/restaurant run by a Lebanese family, then off to Byblos for a night of dancing. Very popular with the US Marines and Peace Corps Volunteers, and many nationalities.

Having said that, Mali is best appreciated by exploring the country, rather than its nightlife.
