Dear all ,

I am currently on spouse visa and i am getting opportunity to work for a Labuan based company's marketing division in Kualalumpur,

I have to apply for my work permit at immigration at putrajaya or in Labuan ?

I will be working in their KL office .

If the company is an offshore one registered in Labuan then only Labaun can issue the work permit - and you will have to visit imiigration in person when it is issued

Hi, for this permit, the application has to be made to Lofsa, the financial authority in Labuan. If Lofsa approves, they will recommend to the Immigration in Labuan that a 2 yr work permit be issued. If the Labuan immigration approves, you need to come to Labuan to get your passport stamped with the permit. This can be done in one day. Your application can be done by the trust company that incorporate the Labuan company.
