I mean can they really give good education with a recognized qualifications or are they 'degree mills'? They certainly charge a significant sum for their tuition fees.

I am thinking of doing an 18 month MBA at KLIUC --KL infrastructure university college--.

The plan is to add this to my UK engineering degree and 20 year of work experience in order to better my chances of gainful employment or self employment in MY.

Any one know anything about KLIUC?

Is my plan realistic?

Thanks.

OK, Tex I get your point, but you have been done in, a Harvard MBA down here cost only $2, you should have asked!

Seriously though, the main reason for choosing to study is that it is a way to be in My for a year or so while exploring any possibilities for long term settlement that may be out there.

An MBA will probably be an added bonus.

So now you know my real intentions, what do you think?

If you want a sub-standard education, feel free to give malaysia a go...if you want an internationally recogni8zed degree thats going to take you places, look across the causeway and head on down to singapore...

I'll consider Singapore, sounds like a good idea, however I understand that it is a costly environment to be in compared to MY.

Thanks for the advice.

My comment is based on the assumption cost isn't going to be a hinderance to you but yes, its more expensive to live and study in singapore. I however feel if you are going to invest in an MBA, it should be from a school of repute rather than a "college university" in KL...

I don't like putting down local colleges in malaysia but you can't go wrong with the standards of education in singapore...anyways..thats just how i see it...

good luck in whatever decision you make though..

Cost is not an issue, however, I wanted to compare, thanks.

my point is that with UK degree + 20 years working experience ..... either you go for a real MBA (the 25/40000 usd ones, top ones) or.....just try to screw as many gals you can among your classmates.....

this is the only real reason I would go for MY or Singapore Wink
