I have an employment offer as engineer in KL. My employer has sent calling visa to the Malay Consulate here and scanned copy to me. Its in malay. But what I understood is that the validity is 2 months. Kindly let me know

1. Is that I have to get stamped (using this calling visa) within 60 days of that calling visa and once passport is stamped I will have another 3 months validity to enter Malaysia OR

2. I have to get stamped (using this calling visa) on my passport and enter Malay within 2 months of issue of calling visa.

In simple words, do U have ''2 months + 3 months'' or ''only 2 months" to enter Malay.

Please advise

Doesn't make sense.

You always have a 3 months holiday visa as far as I know. And if you are going to work here then you need a work visa which should be at least 1 year.

Check with your employer, they should know how to deal with this.
