Malaysia doesn't allow dual nationality so your wife would couldn't have both. To register a marriage in India this is surely the wrong forum for that!

Actually the Koran is more or less silent on homosexuality it is the old testament that justifies the Islamic ban on homosexuality. Jews, Christians and Muslims have the same viewpoint as it all from the Torah. Many religious Americans have viewpoints that the Taliban would agree with!

No problem being homosexual in Malaysia unless you are Malay or are the Finance Minister (or his driver)

Basically for Muslms in Malaysia any sex outside of marriage is against the law. And as men cannot marry men then it is illegal. Being caught with a Malay gal is just as bad as a Malay boy! For two foreigners just keep it discrete and theer should be no problems. Malaysia is relatively liberal in that sense

My kids go to Uplands. When we were checking out schools before we came I drove around the block when I came to Temby because I was sure I was in the wrong place. The surrounds are hardly inspiring and I didn't even bother to go in. Whenever I go past since I never see anyone there. The location is better than Uplands but that's about it.

Knowing that an Expats can invest in offshore platforms offering better diversity, flexibility and accessibility for pretty much the same starting monthly investment, what would make them chose only one (your) mutual fund ?

I would also advise you not to put expected returns down in writing... Some may be disappointed at the end of the year - especially with a sweet-looking 50% figure!

Dependant visa, are they still not allowed to work ?

thank you for the response. Yes - I need to know if the company is active and actually in the business that they advertising. I expect that my orders could be about 15000 USD per month and I cannot take a chance.

If the company is legit, I will make the trip myself in order to finalise future orders.

Reason for suspecting it might not be active. Well, the email address that they mail from is actually a yahoo address. Just before these guys contacted me, I was contacted by a Nigerian company that promised me that they can give me what I want. I politey told them I will come through to Lagos (Nigeria), inspect and thereafter do business. Needless to say, the MD of the company was not happy at all. The Nigerian companies email address is also from Yahoo and I only contact with the guy in Malaysia after I told the Nigerian guy that I am not interested.

Perhaps its a rare coincedence, perhaps not. But I just cannot take chances like that.

medium room to let in the Miharja Condo in Maluri/Cheras

The room is 6mx3m and is partly furnish with king size matress,wardrobe and fan. the room got a own bathroom and klcc view. shops and foodstalls in 3 min walk distance and bus and star lrt station ( maluri )is in 7 min walk distance. also near by is jusco and carrefour

the condo is fully furnish with washing maschine, fridge, tv, etc and all can be used too.

Hi all,

I am new to this forum and just wanted to ask a couple of questions. My husband and I are travelling to Malaysia with our 9 month old daughter at the beginning of June. We are planning on stopping in KL for a few days and then travelling to either Tioman Islands of the Perhentian Islands. We have been to Malaysia before and visited Langkawi and Penang but want to try the east coast as have heard that the beaches are beautiful.

Can anyone recommend which islands to visit for the best beaches? Also what is the best way to get to these islands?
Also what will the weather will be like this time of year?
Will we need to take precautions against mosquitos on the islands?

Any help and/or tips would be appreciated to make our trip as hassle free as possible with a baby in tow!
