Expatriate Forums in Malaysia

Hello, everyone!

I want to travel to Malaysia to study with a religious teacher, with the eventual hope of a long term arrangement.

I would live and work at the center, but the work would be volunteer.

I have savings to cover my minimal cost of living, but not enough to qualify for the MM2H program.

Is there a long term solution available?
