Well, when things didn't go the way I liked, I didn't use gutter insults, I just packed up and went elsewhere. What I'm objecting to here is the personal vilification of Alvin.
I don't think Alvin is being vilified. The concept of what an Admin role in such a forum is supposed to be is under questions, for those you knew what Jack did and what Alvin does. Now given that Alvin got the title of Admin, of course he is the one under fire. But hey, still less than the mods...
Some of us know that Alvin was not supposed to take over the "moderation"part of the Admin job, somebody else was supposed to do it, many people actually met her when she was introduced by Jack for his farewell AE party 18 months ago. But it appears she turned it down to do something else.
So Alvin got stuck in doing something he was not expecting to be asked doing and, I suspect, something he did not want to do. So the problem is somewhere else, in the management of AE, who I suspect does not give a sh1t of what happens here...
