Expatriate Forums in Malaysia

Dear All,

I have been looking for advise online regarding medical tests required for an employment pass for Malaysia. What blood tests are exactly included? I am Hepatitis B positive; am I still eligible? Or will my application be rejected? Dubai had a similiar issue some years ago, but I hear that it has now been solved.

I tried to look for relevant information on Malaysian government websites for immigration and foreign affairs; couldn’t find anything.

I think it depends on what type of employment pass you are coming to Malaysia on. I've never heard of anyone entering on a DP10 needing to do a medical.
