First of all, pimples can leave scars. If the pimples are still very active, you see fluid coming out, redness, sores and you might feel itchy. Many factors contribute to pimples including psychological reasons example stress, depression. In the early stage, wash your face with a mild soap each time you think it is dirty like you feel oily all over. Don't scratch it. Don't touch it. Don't rub it. Don't pinch it. Just leave it alone. If there are sores, the doctor should prescribe some antibiotic cream to be applied directly to the sores. Once they are healed, get the help of a real professional beautician. Get the best kind of facial skin care. Do away with make up. Just stick to facial cleansing and all that. A lipstick is enough. Eat plenty of veg and fruits. Drink lots and lots of water. Avoid polluted places. Avoid sharing towels. If you think that more pimples come out before exams, study well ahead of exam dates. Avoid coffee and other stimulant. Sleep enough. Exercise enough. Think postive because if you think negative when you see your pimples, you only get more depress and you get more pimples coming out.

If you want to get rid of pimple scar, you need a cosmetic surgery. I doubt the scar will go off by itself. An operation might be able to pull your skin so that it is more smooth looking or may be if it is that bad, it might be cut out and be replaced by an artificial skin or skin from other parts of the body. You need to see a really good, qualified cosmetic surgeon.

Vitamin E helps in repairing damaged skin. You may want to buy highly concentrated Vitamin E tablets e.g. 1000iu (in capsul form) from the pharmacy. Take the powder out and put it on the face as mask. It is very effective. If I'm not wrong, it cost about RM2-5 per pc. Nevertheless, you may check with pharmacist.

Normally I would go sun bathing.

And get burned. When the skin peels, it gives a better layer...well it speed up the natural process and your scars will be like falling off?

But...golden tan is good!

Ok now i know i am inviting ridicule by my suggestions, but believe me these things work.

1) Home-made face mask-use regularly (i.e.e everyday for a month to see results)
Take 2 tbsps of flour (chickpea, besan, gramflour -found in most indian food stores) -the grainer the better. Mix juice of 1/2 of a lemon, 1 tbsp yoghurt. And make a thick batter with water. Then apply on face and keep till dry. wash (rub the paste on face like an exfoliant) with luke warm water, then with ice cold water. The flour extracts all oils from the face and cleanses to prevent future pimples. It acts as an exfoliant to remove dead skin and therefore the scars slowly. The lemon juice and yoghurt bleach naturally so that scars are not that visible and fade away slowly. All this is natural and non-toxic. The ice-cold water will close the skin pores.

2) A commercially available skin pack made of apricot shells, etc etc. Quite good but the natural one is better.
Good luck

Take the powder out from the capsul, mix with considerable amount of luke warm water and spread it on the face. Especially on the problem area for 10-15 mins. How soon the scar will clear depends very much on the degree of damage on the skin. To prevent further breakouts, I think healthy balanced diet with lots of water will certainly help.

You all forget that you must do this while the pimples are playing around on the face and not after they are gone and leave scars; meaning you have to prevent formation of scars rather than disappearing them when they are form.

dotp...sun bathing can cause skin cancer....please use suntan lotion or stay out of the sun or cover your skin...

And stop eating stuff with palm oil! Ever notice that in countries that use palm oil, people's complexions are far worse than everywhere else?
