Expatriate Forums in Malaysia

Hi,
I've been working in Malaysia for the past 5 years on an employment pass. I have been trying to renew it for the past 1 year, and my application has been ping ponging back and forth between different govt departments. My agent says immigration keep changing policy. Is anyone else facing this issue?

Good day to you. It should not create much issue as you have been working here for more than 5 years and have continue to pay your tax. Immigration is now taking a longer time due to changinng to a new system in the DP11 stage but the maximum it will take approximately 1 month Plus to 2 month maximum from the date of submission.
