Where to go in Hokkaido between 20th and 30th October

Dear all,

We are planning to go up to Hokkaido in end of October. … bit too late for Lavender and Red Foliage and too early for skiing season. Where then should I go. Any idea?

BTW, can you also suggest any hotel where they have in-room private Onsen bath?
