Like what I said on the headlines.. Many reason for people to look for expat. I say it based on my experience.

When I was Student, I looked for Expat to practice english and languages.. and also because I was curious about the life outside indonesia.

But then, sometimes you just feel more comfortable with expat because of the freedom to say things and giving opinion.

I don't agree if you guys.. Asian women looks for expat for their money.. NO.. There some like that.. but some just wanna have somebody to share when she can become herself.............

Well, I'vee been in jakarta for 4 years already, well peace maker if u are looking 4 aplace to stay in jakarta and the location is full of expat, u should try Jl. Jaksa (Jaksa Street) there you will find Fully that area are expat area, i stayed there for 3 month, but now im moving to nice apartement in Shangrilla's Residence

I feel that some people here had bad experiences, bule with Indonesian girls and vice versa.

I myself never have any experience with bule. I am married to an Indonesian guy and recently, I can't tell you why, getting interested in having a romantic discreet relationship with a bule guy.

Don't worry I am not looking for your money because I have my own earning as a researcher in a very reputable institution in Indonesia. I also have a master degree from a reputable university in Australia, so.... hopefully I wiil be able to satisfy your intellectual curiousity.

Smart successful sensitive guy will turn me on very easily, tall slender figure would be a bonus even a fat old guy would be okay too if the smartness and sensitiveness could overshadow the figure.

I am not living in Jakarta but i visit Jakarta very often for the job. I use to stay alone in a hotel at night, and thinking of having a smart sensitive tall slender bule guy with, would be a great experience for me.

I also travel outside the island very often too, and really need a travel companion if possible.

Don't be surprise to find postings of local women looking for expat men in this forum. I have been to many expat forums and it's very common...apparently it is more rampant in Indonesia. There's really nothing wrong with it...as long as it's for the right reason. It's easy to stereotype women marrying "bule"men, as for me I always give them the benefit of the doubt.

After a year of not waiting, someone is sending me an email, and he turn to be the right man to me. As we both married, this is a friendship, which will not end to a marriage. He is rich and he is very generous, which surely makes me happy but on the other hand, uneasy. I am not a poor woman, my dad is a lawyer and graduated from a reputable European university. Me to, is a management consutlant, graduated from a reputable university in Australia. Why do I have to show off like this? Well not all Indonesian girls are poor and desperate to f*ck a bule for money.

But I found what I am looking for. He is an expat, smart, sensitive, charming and very polite. He is not the kind of a womanizer, a character stereotyped to bule in this thread of discussion. And I am not an Indonesian woman who is looking for money. So we match, we are special and now very happy with our relationship.

I would also want to inform you that my previous posting about looking for a bule is fulfilled, I am not looking anymore so please decline that postings.
