Gaurang Shah of Geojit Financial Services is of the view that Voltas has target of Rs 225.

VOLTAS LTD is one of the leading manufacturers of air-conditioning system in India. Also an engineering service provider belongs to a very good group by Tata’s. The expected growth in the retail, IT, commercial, banking and on the domestic residential front the demand is going to go up considering the kind of investments that it is going to go into all these four-five sectors and keeping in mind the kind of niche area that Voltas has, we expect the sales to go up over there."

He further added, 'It is also got presence in Middle East and is also the largest selected company as far as air-conditioning services are concerned in the Middle East. They are also concentrating in markets like Qatar and Bahrain, which will improve the order inflows going forward. Looking at organic business opportunities in South Africa, North America, Vietnam and Singapore to get the geographical benefit, we have a price target of round about Rs 225 like I mentioned a downward revision from Rs 250 to Rs 225 with a timeframe of round about 1-1.5 years."
