I remember we were on a high floor over looking the ocean and I had me under clothes hanging out the window  Kimmie was so embarrassed, cause every one could see them in the morning.
Anyway we had trouble with English there, They didn't understand me to well  but all in all it was pretty good.

Stud, Novotel is on Queen's Rd in the Western District of HK Island
Sheung Wan-Western District -Kennedy Town is actually a fascinationg part of old HK.

Haha, you're trying to be like the locals hanging out the laundry we nicknamed "International Flags"

Oops, the ferry- must be the one at 'ShunTak' Center at Sheung Wan that takes you to Macau.

Penn's I went to bed after posting last night and guess what I did make an error, Novotel is on Queens road "corner", right opposite KFC or Mc Donalds, I have stayed there twice. I got confused with the other Hotel I stayed in "South China Hotel" The tram runs right past the door, and the Markets are right there also. and the ocean. We caught a ferry somewhere once to an Island not far away. This is where I hung my washing

Yes, that's the hotel, Stud :D
I had a few buffet lunches there a few years back and a strawberry sundae from that Mc Donald

I remember I was bombarded by "heavy rain drops" from above while walking by that hotel. Now, I know where they come from :!: :P

There are some newer ferry terminals in Sheung Wan that will take you to some outer islands. I think you might have gone to Cheung Chau or Lantau Island.

Did you know this part of Western HK was the "red light" district in the old days and where they filmed the famous World of Suzzie Wong. Lots of sailors and sea farring guys used to hang around Sheung Wan-SaiWan. Those bars are no longer there now...heard they served lots of coldies and other stuffs  Western HK is a very historical area.

Penn's I think "Lantau" rings a bell. There is a shopping mall there and you enter via an old boat.
Yes I heard about Suzi Wong, did she end up in Singapore?

Lantau Island is where Discovery Bay is. I only visited the island twice.
"Old boat"...I didn't see one....wonder if they put it there later :?:
Now, it's where the HK Intl airport and Disney are.
