I've just been offered a job with a bank in HK for 3 years.
Myself and my partner are British, as a same sex partner, is he able to apply for a dependants visa for my 3 years stay or will he need need to leave every 180 days? If this is the case, will immigration get funny if he leaves and applies for a tourist visa six times to cover the 3 years?
Also, would it help if we had a civil partnership in the UK or is this not recognised in HK?
