Folks,
I have taken up a full-time position in HK and will be moving there early Jan.
I'm currently holding an Indian passport and have applied for HK Employment Visa on my Indian passport. I'm told the processing time is 6-8 weeks. (is this true?)
However, I have applied for citizenship in Singapore. Should my application come through, I will have to give up my Indian passport and get a new Singapore passport. I believe my HK employment visa will then be void and I'll have to apply for a new visa on my Singapore passport?
Does that mean another 6-8 weeks of processing time?
I need to start work by early Jan and certainly do not want to delay that. What's the best way I can handle this?
Any views / advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you! |
