How would it look like if a European would want to set up a company in HK from visa point of view. It's not investment, but a limited company with non-HK as shareholder & the director and a HK company in role of Company Secretary.
I can't find any information on Immigration website, but maybe I'm looking in wrong places.
I've done more searching and asking and here's what I've been told regarding Investment Visa for owner of a HK company:
Quote:
In order to have work permit, applicant needs to be:
1.. hired by a HK company;
2.. or owns a HK business;
However, as registering a HK company is not difficult, HK government also
request applicant / the company to show below:
a.. with real existence in HK (such as its own office hired);
b.. hiring some local HK employee;
c.. with sufficient finance strength;
d.. with reason to hire person from overseas;
I hope it helps if someone has smiliar problem as me
