Is there anybody around here
I'd love some recommendations on good European groceries/bakeries/cheese shops, etc., especially around the Quarry Bay area. I have conservative European tastes to feed...
Thanks,

| Not familiar with Quarry Bay. But try CitySuper chain. They have some good selections. |

Likewise don't really know or remember much about Quarry Bay, not a huge expat area that one.
In addition to CitySuper that is multi-cultural erring on the side of Japanese you can also try Olivers Deli for emergency supplies. I say emergency supplies since they tend to be a little higher in price. They are in the Prince's Building i think, right in the heart of Central at the HSBC. |

| I need a good bakery in Hong Kong. I live in New York and I'd like some pastries delivered to someone there. Please help! |

Try this place:
http://secure.citysuper.com.hk/food_market.php
There is also the chain stores like Maxims bakery, it's more to the local taste and they do have good cakes-lighter texture. |
