I am making plans to visit for an extended period of time in Honduras and become eventually a resident. I am a 41 year old architect as well as graphic artist. I am investigating possible self employment opportunities there before I arrive. I understand that a foreigner may not work for a Honduran. I am asking anyone on this forum if, in their experience, there is a need for someone who can use skills as I mentioned above as a successful means of making a modest (not looking to get rich at all) living to support myself. I am also an electrician and can build homes according to the U.S. methods and practices which I know will be different there.
If anyone can provide some input, I greatly appreciate it.
