If you want to work in Ethiopia, you should have a work permit from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, which will only be issued on production of a letter of recommendation from the appropriate authority or organisation. After getting the work permit it must be registered in the Immigration Main Department in order to get a new ID and Resident' s permit including an exit and re-entry visa.
