Greetings from hot and humid Kuala Lumpur!
Our Filipino housekeeper unfortunately will not be accompanying us on our next assignment. However she has been offered a job with an American family there in Dubai, again, as a live in housekeeper.
With the cost of living being much higher there than here in KL, I, or more appropriately she was interesting in knowing what on average the expats pay monthly for domestic help. The going rate here for a live in Filipino is $300- $350 a month.
