Hola!
We mom, dad and son (27 months) form Venezuela and Denmark currently living in Nigeria, might relocate to DR.
Can anyone tells us about kindergartens, etc.?
Areas good to live in, etc.?
How is medical care?
Any good clinics/hospitals type private, etc.

Kindergarten depends on where you would like to live in the country in the big cities you can probably find a school. You can also get very reasonably priced teacher that would take the child for privet classes.
Areas to live in this depend very much on what you want. There is in the cities areas that I would not recommend but this is true through the world. The people here are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. I personally live in the countryside quiet, safe and live very reasonable. There are locations that have a lot of expatriates living here. These areas are more expensive.
Health care is very reasonable. Hospitals and doctors are free you pay for drug and expensive. You will need to pay in clinics but they are more up to date. Health insurance here can cost. For example my wife and I pay US $ 500 per year for basic coverage. My wife seen the doctor and he said she needed an operation which was carried out the same day requiring three doctor and operating room. At the end of the day my cost where US $24. Dental health example a few days ago I broke a tooth the dentist worked about an hour rebuilding the tooth my cost was US $16. These are all personal experiences. _________________ Living life to the fullest |

Thanks - Steen |

When do you plan to be moving? You should take time to visit the old part of Santa Domingo when you get there it’s quit nice.
